Accessibility and parking
We are a listed building from the 1700s with no lift. We would rather tell you plainly what that means than have you arrive to a surprise.
At a glance
- There is no lift. Every bedroom is reached by stairs.
- Reception, the bar and the restaurant are on the ground floor.
- Parking is on site but limited, first come first served, and cannot be reserved.
- The car park is for hotel guests only. Restaurant guests should use the town car parks.
- Assistance dogs are welcome throughout.

Stairs by room
Stair counts for each of the fourteen rooms are being confirmed with the hotel and will appear on every room page and in the room comparison.
